Jeep® Mission One Earth

Mission One Earth (MOE) is Jeep India’s flagship initiative introduced this year to encourage and promote Responsible Adventure. As a Brand, we believe that all terrains are sacred and it is our responsibility to look after them by keeping them clean.

THE UNIQUE SOLUTION

The Mission One Earth team installed a unique solution to curb plastic waste. They installed reverse vending machines at two of the highest motorable roads that include Tabo Village - Altitude: 10,824 Ft. and Highest Petrol Pump in Kaza - Altitude: 12,045 Feet.

THE MILESTONE

The convoy travelled from Shimla to Srinagar and together, the team picked 1.5 tons of plastic waste on the trail for recycling.

THE TRAIL

The trail took place from 10th September to 20th September 2021.
12 Jeep SUV owners, 300+ locals, partners Healing Himalayas participated in the trail. The trail’s itinerary included a visit to the highest motorable passes, a visit to some of the highest lakes in the country, a chance to explore the wilderness of mystic Ladakh and the most crucial element, undertaking Mission One Earth - the responsibility of cleaning up the mighty Himalayas. Over 10 days, the convoy covered more than 2000+ km.
