Jeep® Wrangler Unlimited, Jeep Grand Cherokee and Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT make their Indian debut at the 2016 Auto Expo in New Delhi

Fiat Chrysler's iconic Jeep sports utility vehicles (SUVs) are set to enter the Indian market by the middle of this year with the Wrangler Unlimited and Grand Cherokee.

Jeep will enter the market by middle of 2016, focussing initially on seven core markets — Mumbai, New Delhi, Chennai, Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, Kochi and Hyderabad.

Co plans to launch Grand Cherokee and Wrangler Unlimited in both diesel and petrol versions.

The third model showcased by Jeep at the Auto Expo 2016 is the Jeep Grand Cherokee. It will be available in both petrol and diesel options when it launches in the Indian market in the second half of 2016.

FCA plans to introduce a locally manufactured model soon.
